What is Kiran®?
Kiran® is the Kiranto Foods trademark for our proprietary products. The Kiran® brand is a broad product range – individual ingredients and blends.
Does Kiranto Foods have certification?
Yes – Kiranto Foods production is FSSC 22000 certified and our storage is ISO 22000 certified.
Does Kiranto Foods have its proprietary production?
Yes – Since 2008, we have been producing our own flavour and functional blends in our proprietary production and packaging facility in Farum, Denmark.
Does Kiranto Foods export outside Denmark?
Yes – we export to other European countries.
Is Kiranto Foods able to provide organic ingredients?
Yes – we have a wide range of organic products.
What is a starter culture?
A starter culture is a harmless bacteria used in fermentation to process meat products such as salami and ham.
Does Kiranto Foods have a range of meat analogues?
Yes – Kiran® Green is a product range that includes different solutions for meat analogue sausages, burgers, minced meat, etc.
What is a yeast extract?
A yeast extract is a natural inactivated yeast such as baker’s yeast that you know from home baking. The yeast is processed to give it a special umami and savoury flavours – a broth flavour. A yeast extract is used in some Kiran® Bouillon products.
Can Kiranto Foods help with product development?
Yes – we support our customers in the development of new products and the optimisation of existing products. We have a test kitchen and a pilot plant for product testing.
